How To Make:
Step 1: Tracing and Detailing the Fabric
Begin by sketching paper templates for the head, torso, upper limbs, and lower limbs, complete with boots. Trace the templates onto two layers of light fabric to create front and back panels for each piece, then cut them out. Using a fabric pen, carefully draw bone outlines and details onto all front panels.
Step 2: Constructing the Joint Connectors
Construct the fabric joint connectors by folding a 1¾-inch wide fabric strip in half, stitching ¼-inch from the folded edge, turning it right-side out, and ironing it flat before cutting it into eight 1½-inch segments.
Step 3: Assembling the Lower Limbs
Assemble the lower limbs by placing two connector strips at the top and bottom of the front panels, sandwiching them right sides together with the back panels, and sewing along the edges while leaving an opening at a straight seam. Notch the curved edges, turn right-side out, and push the corners out with a crochet hook.
Step 4: Attaching the Upper Limbs
Attach the upper limb panels by aligning them with the connector strips, tucking the lower limb inward so it doesn’t get caught in the seam, sewing around the edges, and turning right-side out.
Step 5: Joining the Full Body
