Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ornament
- Take a plastic medallion ornament and paint it with two layers of white paint.
- Allow the paint to dry completely between each layer.
Step 2: Prepare the Napkin
- Use a USA-themed napkin for the design.
- Trace around the napkin design using a water pen to make cutting or tearing easier.
- Alternatively, use scissors, but the creator prefers a water pen for better blending and softer edges.
- Tear the napkin into smaller pieces to allow better placement over the ornament.
Step 3: Apply the Napkin
- Apply a thin layer of decoupage glue to the surface of the ornament.

- Carefully place the napkin pieces onto the ornament.
- Start gluing from the center of the napkin outwards to the edges.
