How To Make:
Preparation & Base Layer
Begin by taking the largest square sheet of paper ($10 \times 10\text{ cm}$) and folding it diagonally in half to form a triangle.
Fold the triangle in half again to form a smaller triangle, and repeat this step once more to create an even smaller triangle.
Fold one edge over to line up with the opposite fold, forming a slender, pointed triangle shape.
Trim off the excess angled bottom tips to create a sharp point.
Starting from the outer angled edge, make fine, parallel diagonal cuts along the length of the folded paper, taking care to stop just short of the central folded spine. Carefully open and lay flat the unfolded paper to reveal an 8-pointed, feathery cut-paper snowflake.
Middle Layer
Repeat the exact folding, trimming, and cutting procedure using the medium ($9 \times 9\text{ cm}$) white paper square to create the middle tier. Assembly & Finishing Touches:

Apply another dab of glue to the center of the middle layer and press the smallest snowflake onto the center, again offsetting its points relative to the layer beneath it.
